1000 Point Skills Clinic with Ryan Walsh

Hey everyone! My name is Ryan Walsh, I am a former 1000 point scorer at Dighton Rehoboth and a current college basketball player. My freshman year I played at Umass Dartmouth, and after that I was lucky enough to accomplish my dream of playing division 1 basketball starting in the fall. I have coached at many camps and to me they are all the same. What really bothers me about working all the camps I have done in the past is that everyone is taught at the same level, regardless of their skill. Some people might not be able to dribble so well yet they are being pushed to do crossovers and combinations. Others are advanced and get stuck in basic movements when they are ready to take it to the next level. This is one reason I decided to start this camp, so I can teach kids how to play the game AT THEIR OWN LEVEL. The second reason is because I believe the game is continuing to evolve, and some of the older coaches are still teaching the game the same way it was taught to them when they were kids. This is wrong because the players need to adapt as well to the evolution of the game. I hope I am able to help a lot of kids and I would love to help take a lot of players to that next level! Any questions for me I can be emailed at 1000pointskillsclinic@gmail.com thanks!
